Salmon Seasoned (skin-on)

Priscilla's Baked Salmon, skin-on

Just a quick and easy recipe with a delicious flavor! Perfect for a meal after work and ready in under 30 minutes!

Yield: 4

Ingredients:

1 - 1 1/2 lb Atlantic salmon, skin on

2 tbsp unsalted butter, melted

2 tsp McCormick Roasted Garlic & Herb seasoning

Cayenne, optional and to desired taste

Instructions:

1.  Preheat the oven at 400 degrees Fahrenheit. Cut the filet into 4 equal size pieces. (see note)

2.  Place the salmon skin-side down on a prepared cookie sheet or baking dish. Add the seasoning(s) to the melted butter and stir well. Using a basting brush, brush the butter mixture over the tops and sides of each piece.

3.  Bake in the middle of the oven for 12 - 15 minutes, until the fish flakes with a fork. Serve immediately with your choice of sides.

Notes:

If you choose to leave as one large filet, cook for about 20 minutes. I chose to cut mine as 4 filets to accommodate those who wanted the cayenne on their own pieces of salmon.

If you chose to use filets without the skin, be sure to add some of the butter mixture to the bottom side as well.
