Crispy Baked Chicken Thighs

Priscilla's Crispy Baked Chicken Thighs, Bone-in with skin

 I love chicken and especially when I make a recipe that ends with juicy meat and great flavor.


Yield: 4 

Cook time:  40 minutes


Ingredients:

4 bone-in skin on chicken thighs

1 tbsp olive oil

3 tsp Italian seasoning

2 tsp paprika

2 tsp garlic powder

2 tsp onion powder

1 tsp ground white pepper

1 tsp kosher salt

1/8 - 1/4 tsp Lawry's season salt

1/2 tbsp baking powder

*Optional:  

3 tsp McCormick Perfect Pinch Rotisserie Chicken seasoning can be used in place of Italian seasoning or use 1 1/2 Italian seasoning and 1 1/2 Rotisserie chicken seasoning

Add some BBQ or other sauce to the chicken if desired before broiling


Instructions:

1.  Preheat oven to 425 degrees F.  Line a pan with foil.  I used a baking rack on top so it would cook better.

2.  Wash off the chicken and pat dry with paper towel to remove any moisture. This helps get that crispy skin.

3.  Mix the seasonings all together evenly in a small bowl. Rub the olive oil on all the chicken thighs. Next, rub the seasoning on the thighs.

4.  Bake the chicken on the rack for 35-40 minutes. You want the chicken to reach 165 degrees with a meat thermometer.  Broil on high for 2-3 minutes to crisp the skin.

5.  Serve hot and enjoy!
